Free online literacy program

Lalilo is a web-based educational software for K-2 teachers and students. It offers comprehensive coverage of early literacy skills and personalized and differentiated instructions. It helps students learn through adaptive lessons. On the other hand, teachers can use the app's dashboard to monitor the progress of the whole class, as well as individual students. Lalilo has a clean and focused visual style that looks more contemporary. It leans on artificial intelligence to offer the students the targeted exercises. Students will journey through different worlds and meet cartoon characters as they learn. Along the way, they will also read books, complete activities, and progress on a well-structured learning path.

Making learning fun

Lalilo is a free online learning tool for kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd-grade students and teachers. Since it caters to younger students, it comes with a design that will make learning fun for them. It introduces different worlds where students must go through to collect badges and unlock stories. Each story is vocabulary-rich, teaching students about nature and animals in engaging and fun ways. Moreover, the reading lessons are also comprehensive, with extensive coverage of every letter sound and word family.

Lalilo also offers flexible personalization, assigning specific lessons and letting kindergartners work through the built-in learning progression. Ultimately, the app's success lies in its adaptive exercises and its ability to pinpoint and adjust to students' strengths and weaknesses. However, by providing student-based lessons, progress monitoring will be extra hard for teachers. Even though it has a dashboard for that, teachers will still need to keep an eye on their students to make sure they are learning.

All in all, Lilo is a good child education app to use. The lessons are interactive and visually appealing without distracting the students. Still, there are some issues with the activities, as they lean heavily on audio-based instructions and could use a little textual reinforcement. Moreover, the lessons could use some more inventive activities or creative breaks. Finally, the stories—while varied and fun—are written by Lalilo, so don't expect recognizable authors

Softonic

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
